The Society for Human Resource Management is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession. There are more than 450 affiliated student chapters throughout the United States. The University of Wisconsin chapter of SHRM is dedicated to providing its members with opportunities to learn more about the field of human resources, network with both students and HR professionals, and grow personally and professionally.

This web site is designed for both students and employers interested in learning about the benefits associated with becoming involved in SHRM. The student chapter of SHRM serves as a bridge between students and Human Resource professionals by exploring HR disciplines in an environment promoting friendship, growth, and hands-on experience.
